The Boyle O'Dowda Academy of Irish Dancing is run by Alice Boyle O'Dowda (TCRG, ADCRG) and her daughter Ailis (TCRG).

Alice began dancing at the age of 3½ yrs. A former "All Ireland Champion", she won all the major competitions throughout Ireland before moving to the south of England where she has been teaching for over 35 years. Alice has also adjudicated around the world and at major competitions including the All Ireland Championships and most recently at the 2010 World Championships in Glasgow.

Ailis was placed in her first competition at the age of 2 and became the youngest person to win the American Nationals, taking the under 8s title when just 6 years old. She went on to win the Under 13s title at the inaugural European Championships and achieve top 5 placings at
the British Nationals, Great Britain, All Ireland and World Championships. She is also a qualified and experienced Irish Dance teacher.
